The second part of the 2026 edition of ‘Invoking Shakti’, one of BhāratShakti’s ongoing learning initiatives for children and youth, will be held at Sri Aurobindo Society, during the month of July 2026. The first part of the workshop focused on the theme ‘India and I’ and was conducted for students from grades 6th to 10th at Creative School, Bengaluru. The second part is exclusively for students of ages 16-19 and will be offered as an educational tour and workshop at Pondicherry and Auroville.
Learning activities for this educational tour and workshop will include interactive discussions, short films, Q & A, experiential sessions, collaborative work, and field visits. The following specific activities are being planned:
- Visit to Sri Aurobindo Ashram and a few departments
- Interaction on the unique aspects of Sri Aurobindo Ashram
- Visit to a few key places in Auroville
- Interaction with a few Aurovillians on the history and spirit of Auroville and Sri Aurobindo’s ideal of human unity
- Lecture-discussion on topics:
- Identity, Culture and Nation
- What is Indian-ness?
- Decolonising the Indian Mind
- Temple Trails for Civilisational Understanding
- Theatre for Learning and Reflection
- Music for Wellness
- Visit to a places of cultural and historical significance in Pondicherry
