Venue: Om Shanti Dham Gurukulam, Sangama – Mekedatu, Karnataka
The BhāratShakti team will be conducting a day-long workshop for about 65 students of ages 12 to 16 who are enrolled at Om Shanti Dham Gurukulam. The theme of the workshop is – Shakti, the Mother. As the workshop will follow soon after the festival of Navaratri and Durga Puja, appopriate topics will be explored with the students through engaging activities. These topics include:
- What is Shakti?
- Who is the Mother?
- Ganesha and the Mother
- Stories of the Four Powers of the Mother
Such deep topics will be addressed through a variety of activities including exploratory interactions, visual presentations, short films, artwork, collaborative learning, and other creative expressions.

The facilitators team will include: Dr. Beloo Mehra, Ms. Chitra Kolluru, Ms. Vani L., and Ms. Biswajita Mohapatra. Teachers and other administrative staff from the Gurukulam will also help with the arrangements at the workshop venue.
