Yuvā Shakti – Cultivating Virtues for Self-growth

Date: May 30, 2024

Venue: Sri Aurobindo Society

“Our call is to young India. It is the young who must be the builders of the new world,—not those who accept the competitive individualism, the capitalism or the materialistic communism of the West as India’s future ideal, nor those who are enslaved to old religious formulas and cannot believe in the acceptance and transformation of life by the spirit, but all who are free in mind and heart to accept a completer truth and labour for a greater ideal.”

~ Sri Aurobindo

BhāratShakti team is curating a half-day workshop for a group of college/university students visiting from Gujarat on a study camp in Pondicherry. They will be visiting Sri Aurobindo Society on May 30. The camp organizers had approached the BhāratShakti team to design an inspirational educational programme for these students.

The workshop will focus on a few key virtues that the Mother has spoken of in her stories and conversations. The sessions during the workshop will be kept interactive so as to engage the young minds and hearts. Stories, humour, discussions as well as group and individual activities will the primary modes of conveying the deeper wisdom concerning the necessity and possible approaches to cultivate these virtues within us.

For programme details see the enclosed brochure.

Last year also, BhāratShakti team had organised an interactive educational programme with another group of students visiting from the same Vallabh Vidyanagar center. Read the report of that program.
