BhāratShakti department will be conducting a three-webinar series for 25 teachers of Sri Aurobindo Center of New Education, Jodhpur on the theme: Conscious Connections: Exploring Aspects of Individual and Collective Life.
Using an interactive format, the following three topics will be explored during three hour-long sessions:
- Self and Others: Harmony in Relationships
- Beyond Collegiality: Growing Together as Teachers
- Connecting with Culture: Facilitating Indian-ness in Classrooms
Dr. Beloo Mehra will be the facilitator of these sessions. Each session will open with a short sharing of some insights from Sri Aurobindo and the Mother on the day’s topic. Following which, through a series of engaging questions, Dr. Mehra will invite the participants to share their experiential understanding and/or reflections on some aspect of the topic.
The primary focus of the sessions will be on the practical aspects, which can be incorporated at the individual and/or collective level – families, workplace, peer networks etc. A few short videos on relevant topics may also be shown. Dr. Mehra will also engage the participants in short self-awareness and reflective exercises during one or two sessions.
